Dodgers Tie 14th Straight Playoff Berth

The Dodgers tied the record set by Atlanta from 1991 through 2005 with Tarik Skubal pitching seven shutout innings and home runs by Kyle Tucker and Teoscar Hernandez. Los Angeles became the third team to clinch a playoff spot, cutting their magic number to three for a fifth straight NL West title.

Skubal (10-7) allowed three hits, struck out nine and walked one. Tucker led off the second with a homer, and Hernández homered to right-center. The Dodgers (91-59) acquired Skubal from Detroit Tigers on Aug. 2, and he is 3-2 with a 2.52 ERA in eight starts since joining the team. fishroad-app.com
